Introduction
For the past 20 years, Electronic Systems Consultants (ESC) has been a leader in transforming the way people interact with their homes. Since electricity became common in homes almost 100 years ago and as technology has evolved and become more pervasive in everyday life, our homes have seen more devices and systems. Until recently, the way in which we interacted with our dwellings had largely remained unchanged and little had evolved to deal with controlling these systems. Today, there are mature, reliable technologies that dramatically simplify the control of our environment, all while empowering architecture and the homeowner with capabilities previously unimagined. This is integrated control by ESC.

Company Overview
David Daniels began one of the first companies providing architectural audio and video systems in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1982, and then relocated to Aspen in 1988 to found ESC. Anson Fogel, our chief operating officer, joined ESC in 1997 and has been instrumental in developing a suite of software and operational manufacturing methods that provide ESC's clients and employees with standard practices representing greater opportunities for mass customization. Mr. Fogel began his career in the residential systems integration industry in 1994, after attending the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Our goal is to make the integration of technology and architecture seamless so that it is easy to operate and appealing to the aesthetic. ESC provides systems for residences, apartments, yachts, vacation homes, and corporate offices. We have applied our expertise to over 1,000 large-scale residential electronic systems in 9 countries and 23 states across the US.

ESC has driven our industry with a variety of innovative business and technological leaps. Beginning in the 1980’s we recognized the need to create specific media spaces and integrate residential electronics. During this time ESC designed and installed the largest systems of their kind and changed the face of the industry.

By creating unique architectural and engineering teams we continued to push the envelope. ESC became one of the few companies who could provide construction-level AutoCAD drawings for our dedicated theater designs. With radical advances in the computer and networking world, we began leveraging the technologies of the rapidly-advancing computer industry to enhance the systems that our clients demanded and provide true IT services in residential applications.

We continue to redefine the ways in which systems are designed, incorporated, and used. ESC has developed and implemented hundreds of custom-built devices, including lifts, motorized devices, wall systems, acoustical products, millwork pieces, and electronic assemblies. To compliment our advancements, ESC has developed our own custom software to run internal systems engineering, documentation, and project management. Another example of this advancement is the ESC MusicServer system, which is used by one of the world’s leading speaker manufacturers to demonstrate to their clients the ultimate in performance. With our unique integrated control, ESC is a leader in the development of one of the world’s first web-based home control and monitoring software packages, allowing clients access to all of the systems in the home from anywhere in the world.
