ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS CONSULTANTS CAPTURES PRESTIGIOUS NATIONAL AWARDS
Aspen Firm Brings Home Six Awards In National Competition
Aspen, Colo. - October 11, 2006 – Electronic Systems Consultants (ESC), an Aspen-based firm, captured six awards at the recent Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) National Lifestyle Awards, held September 16 in Denver, Colorado. ESC was competing with firms from all over the USA and walked away with more awards than any other company in the history of the competition.
CEDIA is the national trade organization for the custom electronics business. The CEDIA annual convention is one of the 10 largest trade shows in the USA. ESC received awards in the following categories:
1. Best large Home Theater - Silver Technical Design Award
2. Best Theme Theater - Gold Technical Design Award
3. President's Award/Home Theater Magazine Award (1 of 3) Best Overall Theme Theater
4. Best Integrated Home - Gold Technical Design Award
5. Best Hidden Installation - Bronze Technical Award
6. Best Media Room - Bronze Technical Award
“It’s a testament to the industry when a well-established company such as ESC can enter the prestigious CEDIA awards and walk away with one, not to mention six awards,” said Andy Willcox, President of CEDIA. “It is the first time this has happened, and the competition was stiff. It was like having the best album and best song at the Grammy’s. ESC walked away the big winner.”
The awards process is impartial and involves architects and interior designers initially, and then experts from the residential electronic systems contractor community. Judges look at the systems entered and choose the best in each field. No other company has ever captured more awards in a single year, and this total is double the nearest competitor company's tally this year.
“We are very excited to be recognized by our peers while competing against the best in the world,” said David Daniels, founder and principal at ESC. “Our customers come first. We continue to build the trust of our customers through innovation, experience and great customer service. These awards are a product of our entire staff’s desire to be the best. We are all very proud of these awards and the recognition by our industry.”
